A few weeks ago I attended the Fun'n'Sun Air Show in Lakeland Florida as a guest of KelbyOne, complete with media credentials.
This was the first time I had attended an air show, and therefore the first time I photographed one. In fact I had to buy a new 150-500mm lens for the occaision.
Despite my newbie-ness I managed to get a few shots I am pleased with. I'll post them over the next few posts, but for now I'll start with the F35A Lightning.
Thanks to Erik Kuna for giving us an excellent breakdown on how to shoot air shows. If you want to shoot your own show, check out their excellent classes at kelbyone.com on the subject.
