Some geocache containers are just downright sneaky.
Case in point is this magnetic bolt cache from +Cache Advance I just received in the mail as a prize for winning a trivia contest on +Geocaching World.
The head of the bolt contains a magnet, and the shaft is hollowed out to hold a small logbook.
As you can imagine, placed in the right spot, this cache will blend right into its environment.
Here is a close up:
When I opened the envelope and pulled this out, my son was standing beside me, so I showed him it. His first response was "I wanna sign it!", so we did (with help from daddy). It is gonna confuse the heck out of the First-To-Finders.
Now all I need is a place to put it...

Love these - my husband made one for me awhile back and we placed it. It was a big hit! You need to name this one "Zekes' a nut!"
Ouch! Kim, easy on the nuts!
I remember one of these was the first repeated DNF's I ever had. It drove me NUTS! I went back four times and finally I guess the CO felt sorry for me and let me in on his little secret. These caches are crazy, sneaky wild and yes.......NUTS!
I love finding these ;-)
Awesome! Cuz even when it's found the FTFer will still be scratching their heads.
Any ideas for a hiding spot yet?
