Metalmorphosis

Sometimes urban art can be awe inspiring.  Just south of Charlotte North Carolina, in an out of the way industrial park, exists one stunning example of urban art at its finest.

As you can see, Metalmorphosis is a giant shiny metal head that doubles as a fountain.  The sections of the head apparently rotate once and a while, tho it did not do so while I was there.

This sculpture really deserves to be experienced in person, so if you are in the area, be sure to drop by and check it out for yourself.

Just another sight I never would have seen if it
was not for geocaching.
